The Chapel of Jesus College, Cambridge is proud to present J.S. Bach's St John Passion during Lent - ‘More daring, forceful and poetic’ than the St Matthew Passion, according to Schumann.
Sung in German, the concert will be directed by College Director of Music, Richard Pinel, and will feature:
- The Choirs of Jesus College, Cambridge
- The Corelli Orchestra
- Rogers Covey-Crump, Evangelist
- Philippa Hyde, Soprano
- Timothy Travers-Brown, Countertenor
- Guy Cutting, Tenor
- Michael Mofidian, Bass
Tickets cost £22.50 sighted (nave and transepts), £12 unsighted (choir stalls) Students £10 sighted, £5 unsighted and can be purchased from ADC Theatre Ticketing.
