A Celebration of Classics at Jesus

Jesuan Classicists and friends of Classics at the College were invited to an afternoon and evening in celebration of the rich tradition of this subject at Jesus.

Dr Emma Greensmith — Junior Research Fellow at Jesus 2018/19 and currently Tutorial Fellow in Classics at St John’s College Oxford — delivered a talk, Oedipus and I, which was followed by a reception and collective visit to the Greek Play (this year a contemporary telling of Sophocles’ Oedipus at Colonus).
