Taster days success

Over 500 year 12 students from across the UK came to our most recent subject taster days, meeting and learning from experts across a wide range of undergraduate courses.

Part of our ongoing access work, the taster sessions were run across four days and offered two taster lectures in different subjects. Jesus College takes students to study all of the academic subjects offered at the University of Cambridge.

Alongside lectures, students heard about the Cambridge application process from College Admissions Tutors. A tour of College by current undergraduates gave students a chance to ask more questions and gain an insight into College life

Josie Ella from our Admissions team said: "It’s been great to see so many students taking the initiative to explore the subjects that they are interested in outside of school classrooms. We hold visits and open days throughout the year, and would encourage anyone who's thinking of applying to Cambridge to come along."

We're committed to encouraging the best students to apply from all schools and backgrounds. We run a range of events for individuals and groups throughout the year, including open days and subject masterclasses. Find out about upcoming open days and more.
