How can we fix the financial system?

How can university endowments, pension funds, and individual savers contribute to the mitigation of inequality and the climate crisis through their investments? 

On 24 March the Intellectual Forum spoke to Dr Ellen Quigley about the global financial system its impact on the climate.

Ellen is the Advisor to the Chief Financial Officer (Responsible Investment) at the University of Cambridge and a Senior Research Associate in Climate Risk and Sustainable Finance at the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk, as well as being a Postdoctoral Associate at Jesus College.
