I absolutely loved my years singing with Jesus. Having not previously sung with a chapel choir I was apprehensive at first about being unfamiliar with much of the music and traditions, however I was very quickly put at ease. The welcoming and friendly nature of the choir has not only made the time singing enjoyable, but it truly enhanced my experience at Cambridge.

I feel I have also grown in confidence technically due to the provided fortnightly singing lessons. Not only has it been musically rewarding and provided many amazing experiences such as travelling to Hong Kong, France and Malta, but I have met many of my closest friends through the choir. The opportunity to produce CDs and perform in incredible concerts, such as Verdi's Otello in King's College Chapel, with such a lovely group of people is something I really value amongst busy terms and essay deadlines. I would encourage anyone thinking of singing at Cambridge to consider Jesus!
