Information

Organising a conference or other event at Jesus College? Here's everything you need to know.

How to find us

View our full travel information and directions.

For pedestrians or those alighting from buses or taxis it's best to use the Jesus Lane entrance. Cars should use the electronic gates on Victoria Avenue, where assistance is provided through an intercom.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we encourage all visitors to use sustainable transport methods to reach the College. If you or a passenger need to use our on-site parking for accessibility reasons, please contact us in advance to request a space. We do not offer general guest parking in College. There are several public car parks within walking distance.

Checking into your accommodation

Times for checking in and out will be confirmed at the time of booking, as will the arrival point. This will be either West Court reception or the Porters’ Lodge, and access is available 24 hours a day.

We provide linen and towels, complimentary toiletries, and tea and coffee making facilities in our guest bedrooms. Free wifi is available across the site and West Court rooms have bedside USP access.

Accessibility

All our accommodation and most of our meeting rooms are accessible, but please do contact us in advance to let us know your requirements so that we can select the best accommodation for you. Guests using wheelchairs or with reduced mobility can find a full AccessAble accessibility report online. We ask guests with visual or hearing impairments to let us know in advance of arrival so that we can make staff aware of your needs, particularly in the event of a fire evacuation.

Exploring Cambridge

At Jesus College, the city is on your doorstep. The best way to explore is on foot, and there are a number of walking tours that take you through the key historic buildings and Colleges. Punting tours on the river are also available. We would highly recommend a chauffeured punt, but the more adventurous may choose to hire a punt to steer themselves.

Cambridge has many high street and boutique shops, and lots of attractive green spaces to relax in. There are also museums, art galleries, theatres, and cinemas to enjoy.

Please speak to our friendly reception staff and Porters for tourist information and recommendations.
