APU Case Study
“Anglia Ruskin University holds a series of targeted events and seminars to support its academic and research staff entitled Research Funding Observatory (RFO). In November, it held a condensed residential course for RFO beginners at Jesus College’s new West Court facility.
“We found the staff professional, flexible and quick to respond to our requests wherever possible. They were able to adapt table layouts for us at short notice and adjust the timing of breaks without much warning. Rachel McElroy was our contact throughout the planning process and on the day making sure everything ran smoothly.
“We were looking for a Cambridge venue in which our participants could relax. We expect them to work hard on our course, so we needed a place that could provide good food, friendly staff and lots of coffee! The course takes place twice a year, and attendees are drawn from within our organisation.
