Audio Visual Technician

This is an exciting and challenging new role, created to support the growing audio visual facilities at Jesus College.

The College is soon to complete the refurbishment of West Court, in which advanced audio/visual equipment and conference facilities will be provided. This role’s primary responsibility will be to operate, maintain and promote those facilities. You will work closely with the IT Manager, alongside the Conference Department, to deliver a first class experience for event organisers and delegates, as well as college members, staff and visitors.

You will ideally hold a relevant IT or AV qualification but most importantly you will have excellent technical ability and understanding of a range of AV equipment, strong communication skills and a desire to deliver the highest possible standards of service.

The salary for this full-time position will be commensurate with skills and experience and will be between £25,000 and £30,000 per annum. In addition we offer an excellent benefits package and the opportunity to work in an inspiring and historic city-centre location.

Forum Coordinator

At an exciting time of growth and development for the College, we are currently seeking an exceptional individual to work with our newly-appointed Director to create a world-class forum offering a programme of scholarly and creative activities, conferences, symposia, lectures and discussions in our new purpose-built West Court.

You will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational and IT ability and ideally have a proven track record of working in a similar organisational, academic or events coordination role. Most importantly, you will have the enthusiasm, interests and flexibility to work in a role that will evolve as the success of the Forum grows, and the confidence and skills to work successfully with a diverse range of people.  This is a challenging and rewarding role which will suit someone with a wide ranging interest in thinking and learning about many different topics and the application of research to matters of public interest and policy.

The salary for this full-time position will be commensurate with skills and experience and will be between £28,000 – £32,800 per annum. In addition we offer an excellent benefits package and the opportunity to work in an inspiring and historic city-centre location.
