Database and Prospect Research Administrator

We are looking for a Database and Prospect Research Administrator to join our successful Development and Alumni Relations Team.

At Jesus, the culture of philanthropy is deeply embedded and its value is recognised throughout the College. It has one of the most successful and established development offices in Collegiate Cambridge where the Master, Bursar and Fellowship actively engage with the Development and Alumni Relations Office to deliver its philanthropic goals.

You will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of our information and Raiser’s Edge/NXT database, as well as providing the insight and research support the team need to succeed with their fundraising and alumni engagement activities. You will play a key role in the management of data and the ethical gathering of information from a wide range of sources to produce research briefings that drive decision making and help us build long-lasting and positive relationships with our alumni and friends.

This role would suit someone in the early stages of their fundraising or research career, but we are open to anyone with transferable skills, such as managing large sets of quantitative and qualitative data and information. You will possesses excellent communication skills, have impeccable attention to detail and be fully up-to-date with data processing and fundraising regulations.

We offer a generous benefits package, including an annual salary of between £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on skills and experience), 25 days annual leave and a pension scheme, all within a historical and inspiring environment. This is a full-time role, which can be undertaken on a job share basis. We would therefore welcome applications from those interested in working either full- or part-time.
