Biography

Professor Peleg comes to Cambridge from George Washington University, where he taught courses on modern Hebrew literature and Israel studies, especially film and Israeli culture courses, and has also directed the Hebrew Language Program there since 2002.

He received his PhD in Hebrew literature from Brandeis University in 2000. Before coming to George Washington University, Professor Peleg taught Hebrew literature and Israeli culture courses at Brandeis University from 1993 to 2001 and at Princeton University in 2002.
