Jesuan opera singers on the big stage

Two Jesuan singers continue to make their operatic mark, with a competition win for one and return to a title role for another.

Young Jesuan bass-baritone Michael Mofidian (2011) has recently won the Royal Over-Seas League Arts voice competition, capping off an impressive few months for the young singer. He has also been selected to become a Jette Parker Young Artist at the Royal Opera House and is an Oxford Lieder Young Artist. He will perform in College with The Jesus College Choirs in Bach’s St John Passion on 19th March - tickets are available via ADC Ticketing.

William Dazeley (1985), an internationally-renowned opera singer - himself a former winner of the Royal Overseas League Singing Competition - has returned to playing the title role in Mozart’s Don Giovanni at Opera North this month, in a revivial of 2012's Alessandro Talevi production. We wish him all the best with the run of performances!
