Jesus College is delighted to be presenting the latest show of paintings by Vicken Parsons under the title Pool.
Open from 10am until 6pm every day up to 25 March, the display of 15 paintings is the fourth show to be held in our new West Court Gallery.
The majority of the paintings are small, even diminuitive in size, but are surprisingly immersive. They offer the viewer a an opening onto an environment in which planes, dimensions, forms and graduated densities of light and colour seem to be caught in the process of recalibrating all their relationships.
