Dr Felix Day
Felix Day is a Career Development Fellow at the University of Cambridge MRC Epidemiology Unit and a Postdoctoral Associate at Jesus College.
I am a career development fellow in the Growth and Development programme at the Medical Research Council Epidemiology Unit, where I also did my PhD.
Before moving to Cambridge, I studied at the University of Oxford and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. My research interests include the links between reproductive phenotypes and disease, particularly metabolic disorders. This research includes using methods in both genetics and epidemiology to understand causality in these conditions. In particular I have worked on projects that have linked double-stranded DNA repair to timing of menopause, and timing of puberty to a range of cancers in later life.
