Dr Megan Davies Wykes

Postdoctoral Associate
Postdoctoral Research Assistant for Managing Air for Green Inner Cities at the Department for Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics
Fluid Dynamics

Megan Davies Wykes is a Postdoctoral Research Assistant of Managing Air for Green Inner Cities at the Department for Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge.

Academic Interests

Megan's research interests span turbulent mixing, buoyancy-driven flows and fluid-structure interaction. Following postgraduate degrees at Jesus College, she moved to the Courant Institute, New York University as a Fulbright Scholar to study the feedback between shape and flow when objects dissolve in a fluid., where Megan investigated the interaction between a dissolving body and a buoyancy-driven flow and flow-structure interaction at the microscale.

Degrees Obtained

  • MEng from University of Cambridge (Jesus College)
  • PhD in turbulent stratified mixing at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, University of Cambridge (Jesus College).
