IT

Students can access the internet and the College network from our 24 hour computer centre, from their room, or wirelessly from almost anywhere on the main College site.

Kwok Room computer centre

You'll find the Kwok Room on the ground floor of the Quincentenary Library. The 25 computers in the Kwok Room run the latest version of Microsoft Windows and support a number of applications, including the latest version of Microsoft Office. They all have DVD writers, widescreen LCD monitors, and plenty of USB sockets.

All the computers are networked, with access to the College and University networks, as well as to the internet. You'll be given an account with a large amount of secure personal disk space which is regularly backed up. Computers can be used at any time of the day or night, all year round.

College network

Every student room has a high speed wired network connection to the College. WiFi internet access is also available virtually everywhere in the College via the eduroam network. You can access the internet, your College home space, the College intranet JNet, and the University’s network and associated resources.

User support

Our user support team are available to assist you with any IT problems throughout the year. You can visit us in person in the office, or contact us by calling +44 (0)1223 339945 or emailing it-support@jesus.cam.ac.uk. We also publish a number of useful guides and resources on the College intranet JNet.
