Postgraduate Open Day

The University of Cambridge, alongside the Cambridge departments and Colleges, invite you to the Cambridge Postgraduate Open Day. The day is open to all those seeking to apply for postgraduate study at the University and will provide opportunities to meet departmental staff, explore the Colleges and find out more about the application process, research proposals and funding opportunities.

During the morning, you will be able to visit Jesus College to have a look around, join an informal tour of the College grounds with current postgraduate students, and if you have booked and have a place come along to chat with Fellows and current postgraduate students over a buffet lunch. The Graduate Tutor will also be giving a general Welcome Talk at 9.15 am for half an hour, and again at 10.15 am in our Frankopan Hall lecture theatre.

Our aim is that you will discover there is a vibrant student community at Jesus College, together with a wide-ranging academic and pastoral support network available at Jesus College for all of our postgraduate students. We will also provide you with information about postgraduate applicant scholarship opportunites, and postgraduate accommodation at Jesus College. Please be aware, though, that we will not be able to show you the inside of any postgraduate accommodation as our rooms will all be occupied. However, there is a lot of information about accommodation on the Jesus College website, including photographs.

Bookings for the Postgraduate Open Day opened in August on the Cambridge Postgraduate Open Day website, where you can also sign up to the mailing list.
