College Emeritus Fellow Lord Renfrew will give an illustrated lecture on Liangzhu and the origins of complex society in China, followed by a question and answer session.

Lord Renfrew is an Emeritus Fellow and former Master of Jesus College. He is also a Senior Fellow of the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research and was the Institute’s Founding Director.

This is the inaugural seminar hosted by the China Centre, Jesus College. It the first of a series of seminars given by eminent speakers, covering a broad range of topics and disciplines.
