Our speaker for this event is Preye Crooks.
Preye is a senior A&R manager at Columbia Records, Sony Music. During that time he has signed artists that includes Not3s, B Young, DigDat, Da Beatfreakz, IAMDDB, Kenny Allstar, PS1 and worked with the labels across projects such as Wizkid, David etc.
Preye is also the Co-Founder of Strawberries & Creem & The Cambridge Club Festivals. Started whilst at Cambridge university, both Festivals have grown from 500 – 25,000 capacity, full weekend events, and hosted artists that have included Skepta, J Hus, AJ Tracey, T Pain, Sister Sledge, Rag N bone Man and so on. The Festivals were recently acquired by Sony Music, making them Sony’s first owned Festivals in Europe.
