Joshi Herrmann (2008) has reported for The Times, The Telegraph, The Guardian and The London Evening Standard and has twice been Highly Commended at the British Press Awards. He is the founder of The Mill, an innovative local news company which publishes long form stories in Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield.

Todd Gillespie (2016)  is an energy reporter at Bloomberg News. He's broken stories about multibillion-pound government bailouts, the fall of Russia's gas empire, and alleged manipulation in UK electricity markets, for which he was longlisted for Private Eye's Paul Foot Award in 2023. He studied Human, Social, and Political Sciences at Jesus College from 2016-2019, before attending Harvard University on the Henry Fellowship.

Tom Hodgkinson (1986)  is editor of the Idler magazine which he founded in 1993. In the late nineties he was was Head of Creative Development at the Guardian group. He’s also the author of several books including How to Be Idle, How to Be Free, The Idle Parent and Business for Bohemians. He has written for most national newspapers and magazines and now contributes a column to the Oldie. He is working on a book about the Stoics. He has three grown-up children and lives in London. He was at Jesus in 1986-89, and studied English.
