Eliza Bond

Eliza was an intern at the Intellectual Forum in 2021.

Her final year dissertation, which received a distinction, focused on private law actions for unwanted pregnancies. It argued that the law of tort should move away from the ‘harm-based’ paradigm, and towards an approach based on rights.

At the Intellectual Forum, she assisted Dr Sarah Steele with her work on active bystander training in both Medicine and Law, producing "Medicine, misconduct and confronting #MeToo". She also audited the Australian National University ‘#MeToo and the Law’ course.

Eliza completed the BCL at Oxford in 2022. She is interested in private law, and hopes to practise at the Commercial or Tax Bar.
