What’s the worst that could happen?

Did you know that you’re more likely to die from a catastrophe than in a car crash?

On Monday 17th January, Andrew Leigh joined us for this online talk with the Cambridge Centre for the Study of Existential Risk. Andrew looked at catastrophic risks and how to mitigate them, explaining how the rise of populist politics makes catastrophe more likely.

Andrew Leigh is a Member of the Australian House of Representatives, and the author of ten books, including most recently What’s the Worst That Could Happen? Existential Risk and Extreme Politics (MIT Press & Penguin).
