Professor Mair appointed independent crossbench peer

Professor Robert Mair CBE, Fellow, former Master, Sir Kirby Laing Professor of Civil Engineering and Head of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cambridge, has been appointed an independent crossbench peer in recognition of his world-renowned role as a civil engineer, and his extensive practical and academic expertise on infrastructure and construction.
