Open Days success

Thank you to the1,000+ visitors who visited the College over the course of two Cambridge University Open Days on 6th and 7th July.

Our fantastic band of student ambassadors chatted with potential applicants and ran guided tours of the College to talk about life at Jesus. They also featured in a range of short videos on Twitter, talking about the College and what they like most about living and studying here. Our admissions tutors were also on hand to talk with visitors and answer a range of questions from both potential applicants and their families.

Visitors could also attend a talk led by Dr Christopher Burlinson, one of our admissions tutors, entitled "Applying to Cambridge: Five Top Tips". Covering how to apply to study at the University of Cambridge, Christopher's top tips are:

1. The course - do your research
2. Personal Statement - go beyond your cirriculum
3. The Interview - get practice
4. Choose the right College
5. Talk to current students - and look around!

Didn't get along to our Open Days? You can find a wealth of information on this site whether you're considering applying as an undergraduate or a graduate student.
