Offers made to new undergraduates
Over one hundred students have had an undergraduate offer to study at Jesus College confirmed today.
Professor Ian White, Master of Jesus College, said: “Congratulations to everyone who has met their offer to join us at Jesus College, where for over 500 years, successive generations have lived, taught and studied. I, my fellow academics and our students look forward to welcoming you all to our College community.”
Local press stories featuring newly confirmed Jesus College students, include:
- a student from The Cottesloe School in Buckinghamshire who achieved four A*grades to study Natural Sciences
- a student from Ormiston Bushfield School in Peterborough, who reached three A* and one A grade to study Geography
- a student from King's Ely, who secured three A* grades and an A grade to read Philosophy.
- a student from Twycross House School in Tamworth, who attained five A* and one A grade to read Maths with Physics
Jesus College admits around 145 undergraduates each year, across all subjects studied at the University of Cambridge. We are committed to encouraging the best students to apply from all schools and backgrounds. A range of events for individuals and groups run throughout the year including subject taster sessions and open days – with the next undergraduate open day scheduled for Saturday 23 September.
