Meet our new Domestic Bursar
Former Møller Institute General Manager, Stuart Websdale, has moved to Jesus College to become our new Domestic Bursar. He will take charge of several major projects, including a planned large-scale kitchen redevelopment within the College’s Grade I-listed historic buildings.
As Domestic Bursar, Websdale will also head up the College’s operations team. In recent years the team has delivered projects such as the RIBA award-winning West Court, the development of Marshall Court for student accommodation and an environmentally-friendly refurbishment of Chapel Court.
Websdale joined the Møller Institute in 2002 and has been General Manager of its growing conference business for the past 14 years.
Speaking about his new role, Websdale said: “I’m incredibly proud to be taking on this position. I look forward to building on the previous excellent work done by the team.
“This is a fascinating time for both higher education and conferencing, especially in Cambridge. I am extremely confident that with the team we have in place and the outstanding facilities on offer, the College’s conference business will continue to grow and succeed.”
Born in Australia, Websdale lived and worked there until 2002. In addition to his experience at the Møller Institute, he brings a wealth of knowledge gained at both the Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group and Rich River Golf and Country Club.
