Jesuan Highly Commended in The Undergraduate Awards

Congratulations to Emma Kavanagh (2013), who has been Highly Commended in The Undergraduate Awards 2017.

Emma has been recognised for her undergraduate essay ‘Rondo and Retrospection: Musical Structure and Narrativity in Dvořák’s The Water Goblin (1896)’, which was supervised by former Junior Research Fellow Dr Gavin Williams.

Being included in the Highly Commended shortlist means that the essay rates in the top 10% of submissions to the programme, which this year received 6,432 submissions across a number of disciplines from students across 47 countries. The final results of the regional and worldwide competition will be released next week.
