How close are we to settling on the moon?

No human has visited the Moon since the end of the Apollo Program in 1973.

However, the neighbourhood is about to get a whole lot noisier as several countries, including China and the United States, have proposed permanent facilities and settlement on the Moon.  Some private sector firms have even started recruiting settler candidates.

As part of our Space Month! programme, the Intellectual Forum have conducted interviews with internationally-recognised experts on the topic of lunar settlement and have put together a video magazine to give an insight into the prospects, opportunities, and obstacles in humans settling on the Moon.
