Does coronavirus show humanity at its best?

Are we at our best when we are most stressed? Does adversity unite or divide us as a species?

Guest speakers including Peter Frankopan (1990), Professor of Global History at Oxford and Senior Research Fellow at Worcester College, will discuss these issues and much, much more.

The other guest speakers include:

  • Rowan Williams, Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge.
  • Moshe Halbertal, an Israeli philosopher who is the Gruss Professor of Law at New York University and a Professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
  • Heejung Chung, Reader in Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Kent.
  • Peter Tatchell, a British human rights campaigner and a Patron of Humanists UK. 
  • Suddaf Chaudry, a freelance journalist who works in Pakistan and the Middle East.
