College community environment forum

The Intellectual Forum hosted the College Community Environment Forum as part of Green Week Michaelmas 2022.

In 2021, the College published its Responsible Investment Policy and Sustainability Strategy – both of which set out to minimize the College’s negative impacts on the environment. But are there ways in which the College community can be empowered to have positive influence beyond the College walls?

How can we make sure every part of the College feels heard and included when talking about sustainability issues? 

How can we amplify each others’ sustainability efforts as a College – and how can we best take care of each other as we experience negative mental health effects of the climate crisis?

This event kicked off with some expert speakers, followed by a discussion that everyone was welcome to participate in and which raised some fascinating points.
