Alumnus listed in Prospect magazine's top thinkers

Congratulations to Peter Frankopan (1990), Professor of Global History at Oxford University, who has been listed as one of the world’s top 50 thinkers in Prospect magazine.

Prospect salutes the scientists, philosophers and writers reshaping our times. Peter’s 2015 book 'The Silk Roads: A New History of the World' was a No. 1 Sunday Times and international bestseller and is a major reassessment of world history in light of the economic and political renaissance in the re-emerging east. His latest book 'The New Silk Roads: The Present and Future of the World' takes a fresh look at the network of relationships being formed along the length and breadth of the Silk Roads today.
