I am from Abingdon, near Oxford, and am about to begin my third year at Jesus studying Theology.
Although my time at Jesus has been a little unusual due to the coronavirus, I have absolutely loved the Cambridge experience so far. I am involved in the JCSU, as Mental Health and Disabilities Officer, and am also a ‘Jambassador’, which involves giving tours of College to visiting schools as well as answering questions of prospective students. I also volunteer for The Oxbridge Launchpad, where I mentor year 12 students who are hoping to apply to Oxford or Cambridge. As well as this, I am a keen sportswoman (long distance running), and loved going on the Varsity Ski Trip in 2019.
I am delighted to be part of this year’s Telephone Campaign, and am particularly excited to hear about what student life was like for other Jesuans, and learning about the similarities and differences between my experiences and those of alumni.
