Academic conferences

The Rustat Conferences are an initiative of Jesus College, Cambridge and directed by John Cornwell. The Rustat Conference format involves no more than fifty participants. The meetings bring together academics, leaders in politics, the civil service, the City, the media, business, and industry, in a round-table discussion of the vital issues of the day – economic, political and social. Each session at a Rustat Conference is introduced by one or two specialists who raise points for discussion for ten minutes each, followed by a moderated exchange of views between all participants.
