The Jesus College Development Campaign seeks donations and legacies to enable the College to sustain and expand its commitment to excellence, offering talented students, whatever their means, the advantages of a first-rate system of education within a stimulating and supportive environment and providing them with the widest range of opportunities during their time here.
Annual Fund
The Jesus College Annual Fund, launched in 2003, is a yearly appeal to all alumni, parents and friends for funds which can be used immediately to meet the College’s most important priorities. These include providing financial assistance to students, helping to fund College-based teaching and research, and providing facilities of an appropriate high standard for our students and Fellows.

Capital Giving
Unlike Annual Fund contributions, which are designated for current needs in the immediate financial year, capital gifts support a range of specific endowment, construction and long-term funding needs. While capital gifts are most often in the form of cash, they may also include gifts of shares or property. Capital gifts can also be made over a period of several years. A capital gift is usually one that is earmarked for a specific project, such as a building, or to endow a fellowship, studentship or bursary.

Legacies
Legacies enable donors to make gifts to the College through their Will. They can be used to support any aspect of the College including studentships and bursaries, fellowships, the library, and buildings and projects. If you would like further details on how to leave a legacy in your Will to “Jesus College Cambridge”, or to discuss how a legacy bequest might fit your objectives, please contact the Development Director.
