Cambridge University Courses in Sciences
Cambridge has a long-standing reputation for excellence in the Sciences. The Natural Sciences grouping comprises a large number of physical and biological subjects, which share a common, general first, and possibly second, year. Instead of applying to read Physics or Pharmacology at Cambridge, you apply to read Natural Sciences and decide what you will specialise in when you get here. This proves to be very useful, as many students find that, when they get to university, the subject they were most interested in at school turns out to be less attractive than another (often one with no exposure at GCSE or A-level), or that they have a real aptitude for something else. Natural Sciences is also one of the entry routes into a number of subjects not taught in first year, such as Chemical Engineering.

The important thing to note is that you have a great deal of choice within the course structure.
